‘Health of the nation = Wealth of the nation’

 

We believe

  • Good stewardship
    Strengthen and develop NHS to remove waste and inefficiency, proper stewardship and incentivisation to individual participation and involvement in solutions.
  • Hospital Chaplaincy & freedom to share gospel
    Support for hospital chaplaincy and workers supported in their constitutional obligation to share the gospel message.
  • Ban abortion
    Ask Westminster to legislate to ban abortion or make abortion a devolve matter. Campaign or full human rights to be given to the unborn child thus acknowledging the child’s humanity before birth.
  • Day of rest
    Restoration of a healthy work-rest balance in strengthening legislation in support of God-given weekly day of rest to reduce stress and promote family ties.
  • Exercise
    Promote P.E. in schools and break-time for personal exercise in the    workplace to counteract levels of obesity.
  • Aid to world’s poor
    National aid budgets target the world’s poor and needy as it contributes to the health costs of our nation.
  • Personal responsibility for self-inflicted disease
    Support initiatives to bring personal responsibility to bear upon self-inflicted disease either through personal or other insurance schemes.
  • Awareness campaign
    Promote policies that seek to identify the talents of individuals and use their energy and resources for their personal and our collective good and publicise the detrimental effect on life expectancy and health especially homosexuality, excessive drinking and use of addictive substances.
  • Funded residential and nursing care for retired people, including alternative of a live-in funded carer. Review assistance to low income pensioners regarding bus/rail fare schemes and council tax.
