Wales Regional Co-Ordinators

The following council members are the regional co-ordinators in place:

Jeff GreenJeff Green, Mid & West Wales Region

Jeff was, born and brought up in London, is married with three children and lives in Llandrindod Wells, Mid Wales. He is the leader of The Christian Party of Wales and Mid & West Wales Co-ordinator and sees an unprecedented opportunity to encourage men and women to stand up for what’s right
He has worked and travelled in the US, Israel and Portugal over the last 8 years and has gained experience looking at wider issues affecting the nation and the nations.

He sees an increasing pressure on Christians to conform to the world’s standard and knows that we have to make a stand for the nation of Wales.
Just as in Wilberforces day, speaking up for the minorities and oppressed was unpopular, today there is a similar lack of desire to speak out for the voiceless and the weaker groups in society. Jeff argues ‘The majority protects the minority, but the minority should not dictate to the majority. Unfortunately, we are seeing far too much of the latter and far too little of the former. The WCP stands up for truth, justice and integrity for all. With governmental law based on God’s law not man’s law or the appeasement of man, we will start to see this nation prosper again. What exciting days they will be. In the meantime, many in Wales desperately need someone to stand up for them and speak out for them. Ask yourself this, how bad does it have to get before you say “enough is enough” and join the ranks of the lion-hearted and take up the challenge for Wales?’

Dave GriffithsDavid Griffiths, North Wales Region

David P. Griffiths is a 54 year old Christian Minister connected to a network of ministries all over World.

Rev. Griffiths has a passion for missions particularly in the developing World and ministered extensively in the Sri Lankan war zone when the War was at its height. “I once ministered in a war zone hospital where patients were crying out for Jesus Christ. I am determined to see this heart return to Wales for once Wales was a missionary sending country. My own father was a Welsh trained missionary under the ministry of Rees Howells in Swansea and I am determined to restore the Christian heritage of Wales back to the nation. Only through proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ can we see a nation together once more.”

A Christian Minister for twenty years, Rev. Griffiths believes The Christian Party of Wales is Wales opportunity to turn away from the “politically correct” ideals of successive governments that have not given heed to the nation’s constitutional acts which demand they maintain the laws of God; 1689 Act.

Derek ThomsonDerek Thomson, South Central Wales Region

Derek Thomson was born 1945 and grew up in Oxford. He studied Chemistry at University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, and has been a school teacher since 1968. He married Lois in 1983 and has two daughters; Ruth, 21, training to be a nurse at Oxford-Brookes University and Hannah, 23, who has just been accepted by the Metropolitan Police Force.
Derek has lived in Cardiff since 1993 and has taught in several Cardiff schools. He was a Parent-Governor at the Bishop of Llandaff High School. He is currently a member of Heath Evangelical Church in Cardiff.

He believes that “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. (Provs. 14:34). Derek argues that ‘We must, as Christians stand up for what we believe and know to be for the good of the nation. We must oppose the ungodly trends in society and in government legislation which they believe is freedom but which we know is slavery and will only lead to more and more misery.’
